Reed Marketing and Creative are thrilled to be working with a well established Somerset Care company who are seeking a passionate and experienced fundraiser to spearhead our Individual Giving programmes. As the Individual Giving & Lottery Manager, you will be instrumental in securing funding through individual giving, engaging new donors, and enhancing relationships with existing supporters. Your expertise in storytelling and campaign creation will be key to bringing the hospice’s work to life and driving strategic decisions through research and analysis.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Lead and innovate individual giving campaigns and appeals to maximise funding.
  • Inspire new donors and deepen engagement with existing supporters to grow income streams.
  • Collaborate with a third-party Lottery company to maximise income through our lottery programme.
  • Utilise analytical skills to develop and refine the lottery strategy.
  • Craft compelling and persuasive appeals to achieve fundraising targets.
  • Deliver exceptional donor care through inspiring communications that highlight the impact of Weston Hospicecare.
  • Analyse and interpret complex information to inform decision-making and drive fundraising results.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment, sharing ideas, knowledge, and best practices within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in securing funds from individual donors.
  • Strong understanding of the broader fundraising landscape.
  • Excellent storytelling and campaign management skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform strategies and decision-making.
  • Leadership skills with experience in line management and team development.
  • Creative, ambitious, and positive approach to fundraising.
  • Experience in working collaboratively across an organisation.
