Generalist Marketing and Communications Manager role in this law firm, with a great reputation for pro bono and civil justice work. London based with 50% hybrid working.

This is great opportunity to join a growing team and really make your mark, as this law firm go through a period of change under new management in their marketing team. The role will support the Head of Marketing, who would be great to learn from and have the opportunity to manage an Executive in the team. The firm still have great strides to make in developing their marketing processes and infrastructure so you will have the opportunity to suggest new ideas and shape the team.

The team will build the role around an individual but some key areas of focus will include:

  • Developing content and engaging copy;
  • Managing the press office, including media enquiries and developing relationships;
  • Developing external comms across all channels, with the support of the Executive;
  • Supporting on client and media events;
  • Overseeing the legal directories and awards process;
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing on strategy and the development of the function.

This role will suit someone with strong written ability, who can develop copy for different audiences. Ideally you will have exposure to working in a law firm, and also understand the legal directories process. The firm are happy to look at a credible Senior Executive or Specialist stepping up.
