As a Market Access Manager, you will leverage your expertise in the UK & Nordics to navigate payer decision-making processes within the medical diagnostics sector. Utilising your extensive network and contacts within payer communities in these markets, you will play a pivotal role in influencing decisions to ensure successful implementation.

Collaboration will be essential for success, as you work closely with other functions within the group. Partnering with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Commercial groups, you will provide market access expertise and effectively communicate to leverage the strengths of the wider team to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to address funding issues in UK, Ireland & Nordics markets.

• Evaluate threats and opportunities stemming from legislation, regulations, health technology assessments, and determine implications alongside internal stakeholders.

• Lead the development of localised payer engagement tools.

• Develop local evidence in collaboration with cross-functional groups.

• Foster strong relationships with key external payers and influencers.

• Ensure cross-functional alignment for proper value communication with local payers.

• Shape and manage the external environment and payer/health policy impact.

• Ensure market access function representation and participation in country commercial team meetings.

This is a field-based role, involving 50-60% travel mainly across the UK, with additional travel in Ireland and the Nordics.

Requirements for the role include:

• Extensive UK Market Access experience

• Established networks with Payers and senior NHS managers

• Deep understanding of healthcare landscape and payer/provider dynamics

• Preferred experience in Diagnostics sector

• Proven track record in securing funding for diagnostic solutions

• Masters or PhD in health economics
