Manufacturing Operatives

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, poised for expansion. They are seeking dedicated operatives to bolster their production capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Ensure accuracy in transferring numbers and maintain clear handwriting.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the work area.
• Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and prioritise safety at all times.
• Approach tasks with a methodical yet efficient mindset, emphasising quality without cutting corners.
• Exhibit keen observation skills and attention to detail.
• Utilise hand-held scanners effectively.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PC usage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
• Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.
• RTITB Counter Balance Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.

Shift Pattern:

• 4 on/4 off, with 12-hour shifts covering both day and night rotations.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: £11.70 (+ £4.09 shift premium per hour).

Additional Information:

• Candidates with a background in manufacturing will be given preference.
