Manual Milling machinist

Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working with a large steel manufacturing business in Chesterfield.

The facility is facing continued growth, and they are currently looking for individuals with experience as a Milling Machine Setter/Operator.

The successful candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines and be able to follow health and safety guidelines.

Milling Machine Setter/operator  

Salary:

£13.30ph + weekly shift bonus

Average

Hours:

3 shift pattern (days/afternoons/nights)

Overview of the role of a Milling machine setter/operator:

Skills & Experience:

• Must have previous experience setting and operating Manual Milling machines
• Must have experience using measuring equipment to quality check work
• Must have good house keeping skills
• Must have experience using cranes/magnets/slinging
