City-based International Bank has an opening for a fluent Mandarin speaker with good exposure to loan administration and trade finance.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Suit an all-rounder with exposure to as broad a range of products and processes as possible.
  • Experience in Trade Finance and Loan administration.
  • Hands-on experience of operational processes, critical.
  • Ability to communicate (written and oral) fluently in Mandarin.
  • Must be competent in MS Office 2010 and SWIFT
  • Good communication skills - numerate; articulate; able to work to tight timelines under pressure; able to prioritise

Responsibilities

  • Emphasis and primary responsibility for support and cover for transaction flow and data entry for syndicated and bilateral loans administration, trade finance loan and corporate deposits both time deposits and demand deposits.
  • Loan documentation interpretation and creation of loan operating profiles for syndicated and bilateral loans.
  • Completion of trade due diligence for Trade Finance related transactions including the screening of all parties
  • Ability to understand and generate the relevant MT1xx, MT2xx and MT7xx series Swift messages.
