Our client is a highly successful and innovative multi-million turnover organisation, a secure and robust business. An ambitious company with continued growth and development. They are a European Technology/Industrial based Company.
They are taking a flexible approach to this appointment with the successful candidate initially taking up a Senior Sales Director role for an initial period to learn the business and transition to Managing Director.
The post holder will have a proven/demonstrable track record of consistently overachieving gaining recognition/promotion for results and strategies accomplished and implemented.
Duties:
- Overseeing/Managing a National Sales Team
- Selling through distribution channels
- Developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans
- Establishing business goals and strategies
- Responsible for budgets/finance/strategic growth
- Comprehensive Business Plans/Reports
- Good understanding of branding, product, and market position
- Ability to create a long-term vision for the company, working closely with Board Members and Founders of the company
- Direct contact with all staff
- Element of UK and European travel to client/distributor sites
Skills required:
Degree educated or above
Previous experience selling through a distribution network is essential
Experience gained at Director level.
Ability to demonstrate a history of success/promotion through current and previous positions - track record of outstanding achievement
Experience of establishing business goals & strategies.
Confident/charismatic/forward thinking/progressive/commercially aware
Excellent leadership & communication skills
A true positive influencer
