Manager - Practice

A tremendously exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious client manager to join this growing West Kent firm.

Our client, a supportive mid-tier general practice firm, are looking for a Manager for their Orpington office. You will have your own portfolio of general practice sector clients and the chance to grow this portfolio almost immediately.

With a focus on OMBs, the workload would be a mix of audit, accounts and tax, as well as exposure to ad-hoc advisory projects.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Reviewing WIP on completion of the job and alerting partner to issues on any overruns.
• Taking full responsibility for the whole client audit, considering planning, fieldwork, and finalisation of the audit.
• Final review of corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate.
• Final review of Accounts preparation
• Involvement in Business Development and Networking Events

What about you?

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Have excellent technical knowledge in all areas of accounting, tax and audit.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including WIP & billing
• Demonstrable experience with positive staff management and mentorship
