Manager - Accountancy Practice, Guildford (Hybrid 2 days per week) - Up to £65k dependent on experience

Are you a fully qualified Manager at an accountancy practice looking for a new challenge? This rapidly expanding accounts team in Guildford are now seeking to add a qualified Manager to work on a mixture of client facing outsourcing engagements as well as statutory accounts and much more. Sound like the kind of Manager role you’re looking for?

This Manager will be either ACCA or ACA qualified. You’ll have 3-5 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Excellent communication skills are a must as this role is very client facing and requires staff management.

Key responsibilities for this Manager role are:

- Reviewing work of the Accounts team and giving final approval.
- Managing workflow of the team.
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients to provide month end management accounts
- Ad hoc advisory help such as accounting systems
- Cash flow forecasting
- VAT returns
- Year end accounts
- Training and developing junior members of the team.
- On boarding new clients.

This Manager will have:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- ACCA or ACA qualification is essential.
- Previous experience in managing a team in some capacity.
