Management Accounts Assistant
Nigel Wright are currently working with a Teesside based organisation seeking a Management Accounts Assistant on a 6-12 month contract. 

This role could be a great opportunity for candidates both experienced, and those looking to develop into a management accounts position!

The role:
1. To provide management accounting support and advice to Budget holders.
2. To produce month end budget reports and prepare detailed analyses of the
budget variances on a timely basis, and to inform Finance Managers in
preparation for budget meetings.
3. To attend budget meetings with budget holders and Finance managers and ensure resulting actions are taken.
4. To import the payroll files into system and produce detailed pay analysis for all departments.
5. To code the staff contracts with a valid project code.
6. To prepare costing information, including staff forecasts.
7. To identify and analyse coding errors from the accounts listing report and prepare the journals to process the corrections.
8. To produce ad-hoc reports as requested.
9. To input budget virements and contingency releases as instructed by the Senior Accountant.
10. To prepare detailed pay information for inclusion in the annual budget.
11. To monitor and provide financial support for specific projects.
12. To produce year end information including the prepayments and accruals
13. To provide information for inclusion in the statutory accounts in readiness for the external auditors.

1) AAT Qualification or studying towards
2) Previous role within accounts environment
3) Management accounts exposure and knowledge
4) Enthusiasm within accounting and finance
