We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity in Canary Wharf for a skilled Management Accountant to become a valuable member of our client's team on a permanent basis. This role presents an excellent chance for a qualified/finalist Management Accountant to advance within a dynamic international organisation.

The primary objective of this position is to provide top-tier reporting, ensuring robust control measures are in place to enable the business to surpass its objectives.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Compile monthly management accounts and foster business relationships
  • Supervise debtor reporting for business units
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations accurately
  • Analyse overheads, including prepayments, accruals, and variances
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns promptly
  • Conduct revenue analysis for insights
  • Handle intercompany accounting and reconcile transactions
  • Maintain fixed asset registers for compliance
  • Process payroll data efficiently
  • Assist with IR35 checks for commercial teams
  • Prepare year-end accounts meticulously
  • Manage finance assistant and assistant management accountant
  • Communicate training needs and participate in professional development
  • Cultivate a values-driven work environment

The successful Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified or finalist accountant 
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to tailor messages to various audiences
  • Fundamental proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Proactive and organised, adept at managing multiple finance projects
  • Demonstrated ownership and initiative in completing assigned tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail

This position offers a hybrid working model.
