Reed are working in partnership with a Quality Assurance company in Derby and are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join the team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting bookkeeping activities and maintaining the purchase ledger.
  • Preparing monthly reports and management accounts, including reporting on KPIs.
  • Posting and controlling expenses, as well as managing credit control.
  • Assisting with the annual BDO year-end audit.
  • Ensuring accurate financial administration and advocating for excellent customer service when dealing with customer queries and concerns.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good level of IT skills, with proven experience in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a team and have a flexible approach to work.
  • Experience in prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong background in accounting and financial administration.
  • Accounting qualification such as AAT or part-qualified ACCA.
  • Experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll.
  • Experience in dealing with Credit Control.
