CMA are thrilled to be partnering with a dynamic tech organisation to recruit a Management Accountant. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Director, and wider team to provide insights for decision-making and contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies. What will the Management Accountant role involve?

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, presenting them to the Financial Controller.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows for the organisation and its business units, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Offer financial advice and guidance to senior management and business units on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Review and reconcile accounts and transactions, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain internal controls and audit trails, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies and regulations.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

  • Previous responsibility for Accounting, Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting, Business Plan development, Working Capital management, and Cash Flow.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
