Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive informed decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual to contribute to the success of a dynamic organisation.

This role comes with an annual salary of up to £35,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and ad-hoc analysis for senior management and external stakeholders
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience producing Management Accountants, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting specified deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
