Management Accountant

Overview

Due to a flurry of acquisitions, our historical and leading Manufacturing client based just outside of Sutton Coldfield is recruiting for a Management Accountant to assist the large finance team with the preparation of the accounts pack for senior directors. The business is rooted in sustainability and has international presence, allowing the successful candidate years of unimpeachable progression within the organisation.

You will be lucky enough to be taking on a broad role with multiple facets of exposure across the many markets they serve. Day to day you will be compiling commercial reports and owning weekly, monthly and quarterly packs to provide senior management with information such as revenue, margin and KPI reporting. Crucially, you will be side by side with commercial finance to ensure bulletproof forecasts and budgets for your division and other financial and non financial stakeholders internally to spearhead cashflow security.

Skills needed

• You will ideally be studying your CIMA/ACCA toward the latter stages, or Qualified by Experience.
• Ideally, have prior experience within a manufacturing organisation or an understanding of WIP and BOM reporting.
• Be system savvy, as Excel will be used heavily in the role alongside Power BI.
• Be a confident communicator, as you will be require to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of knowledge in finance and accounts.
