Cedar is recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a leading bespoke security services company.

Based in our client's North London office, this is a great opportunity for someone with broad experience in audit or accounting, to join an agile finance function, leading on the production of the month-end reporting pack, alongside tax reporting, and have the ability to come in and make an impact on the wider business.

The responsibilities of the Management Accountant are:

  • Prepare month-end management accounts, including P&L by contract, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly cash flow, for one trading company and two group companies.
  • Review management accounts with Operations Managers before monthly board meetings.
  • Review invoices raised by the Finance Assistant and assist with ad-hoc sales invoices queries.
  • Complete weekly cash-flow reporting for the board of directors.
  • Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.

The successful Management Accountant will be:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Experience of working with a multi-site businesses would be advantageous.
  • Either immediately available, or on a short notice period.

The package on offer for the Management Accountant is:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 (experience dependant).
  • Discretionary bonus.
  • 5% pension contribution.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays).

Location and Flexibility:

  • 5 days in our client's North London office, with the flexibility to work up to 2 days per week in their Central London office.
