Management Accountant
£50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus & hybrid working

Aila is excited to be partnered with a leading, fast-paced international business in Berkhamsted on the recruitment of an experienced and driven Management Accountant, as they look to hire an additional permanent member into their team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this role will aid the production of monthly management accounts. You will be a clear communicator with confidence to speak with senior stakeholders and non-finance in the business.

You will have the ability to work well under pressure, have a methodical approach to work and be diligent and professional with excellent attention to detail. It is essential that you have already had exposure in a similar Management Accounting role, ideally within recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Working on projects to develop the accounts function to ensure that we meet the organisational requirements
  • Production and verification of gross margin reports
  • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Analysis of travel expenses and calculation of PSA liability
  • Preparation of accruals and prepayments
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of commission reports and preparation of VAT and other statutory reports
  • Bank and IDF reconciliations
  • Assist with any audits – Statutory, Bank and ISO
  • Reviewing and updating internal procedures to maximise output
  • Provide monthly financial reports to leadership team and business units

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent experience in a management accounting role, strong Excel skills and the ability to build relationships across various departments with an autonomous mindset.
