Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Dronfield area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties will include:

• Full review of Nominal Ledger/Trial Balance
• Preparation of monthly Prepayments and Accruals
• Schedule and reconcile Accrued Income
• Maintain/update Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss account for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
• Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
• Preparation of monthly Cash Flow for 3 entities on Sage 50 and Excel
• Month-end closedown for 3 entities on Sage 50
• Preparation of monthly Board pack, reviewing results against KPIs
• Assist Head of Finance with annual Financial Statements for submission to external Accountants
• Prepare/review/update monthly forecasting, with submission to Bank
• Analytical work – assisting the Head of Finance with a variety of projects Cover may be required in the following areas from time to time
• Accounts payable – input supplier invoices/credits onto Sage 50
• Accounts receivable – input customer invoices/credits onto Sage 50 and customer portal
• Treasury – input bank transactions from automatic data feeds onto Sage 50
• Payroll – assist in collating data for monthly payroll run 

Person Specification:

• Accountancy practice background (2+ years in smaller practice preferred)
• AAT Qualified
• Personable team player
• Methodical/analytical approach
• Proficient user of Sage 50 and Excel
