Management Accountant

REED are recruiting a Management Accountant for a leading design firm based in Poole. This is a key role for an AAT Level 4 Qualified candidate, looking for career progression, joining a friendly and established accounts team. Please see below

Management Accountant

Full Time, Office based in Poole

Salary £32,000 per annum

Duties include:

• Manage daily cash flow and cash forecasting
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly sales and order statistics
• Prepare and post monthly accruals, journals and prepayments
• Assist with the month end management accounts process - UK and France
• Prepare quarterly/monthly VAT reports and backup documentation for UK and France
• Carry out ad hoc analysis/project work as and when required
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting controls and practices

• Post, reconcile and monitor petty cash regularly
• Process expense claims. Distribute credit card statements and post to ledger - query with staff as appropriate
• Intrastat information for EU Sales
• Sales agents commission processing
• Intercompany, Royalties and Recharge invoicing
• France salaries reconciliation and posting

Essential

• Experience of working in a small/medium sized company, in a multi-currency environment
• Management experience

Requirement

• Membership of a recognised UK accounting body
• AAT Qualified - Level 4 complete
• Honesty; integrity; reliability
• High attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, research skills and analytical skills
• Assertive and professional able to maintain positive working relationships, with strong leadership skills
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent IT Skills, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
• A hands-on and can-do approach
