Our North Kent established client is a prominent player within their sector, boasting a skilled and collaborative workforce. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis.

Description

The successful Management Accountant duties include:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management reviews.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget.
• Prepare regular forecasts to ensure alignment with financial goals and industry trends.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate and lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Provide insights into business performance and assist in strategic decision-making.

Profile

To be considered for this Management Accountant opportunity you will be/ have:

• A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in financial modelling and analysis tools.

Job Offer

• A salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE.
• An excellent benefits package, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
