Your new role
You will be supervising one - two transactional staff that handle the invoicing, expenses, banking, credit control, cash book maintenance, purchase and sales ledgers. Your responsibilities will be to manage several sets of accounts, report monthly, quarterly and annually, cash forecasting, bank recs, balance sheet and P&L accounts, check billings, commissions, prepare VAT returns and submit payroll stats to outside auditors. You will also be handling the rent accounts for one of their other businesses.
What you'll need to succeed
The role is best suited to an experienced accountant able to handle the financial accounting, VAT and payroll entries on a sole charge basis. You will most likely have more than 5 years experience working at this level as Accountant, Management Accountant or Finance Manager.
