DK Recruitment is delighted to collaborate with one of our Newquay based clients in their quest for a skilled Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for a period of 12 months.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this pivotal role is instrumental in preparing monthly and annual management accounts while offering insightful analysis and commentary. Additionally, the position holds the responsibility of furnishing budget holders across the organisation with essential financial data, empowering them to make informed decisions within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager - Europe in preparing monthly and annual management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations, encompassing bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers, and other pertinent balance sheet accounts.
  • Generate month-end journals and compile supporting documentation for accruals and prepayments.
  • Manage the intricate processes associated with customer rebates and promotional funding.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial analysis to budget holders, facilitating well-informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified/Part-Qualified preferable, but not essential
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
