The Management Accountant is an integral part of our Accounting & Finance team based near Iver, responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budget and close processes within the retail industry. This is an office based position.

Description

Overall Responsibilities...

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure the annual monitoring is carried out.
  • Assisting in tax preparation and filing activities.
  • Analysing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Helping in the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP).
  • Part Qualified - ACCA, CIMA etc. and actively studying
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
  • Management Accounts exposure - preferably in multiple businesses
  • Happy to commute towards Iver 5 days per week
