Management Accountant (Transition from Practice)

Position Overview:
You will join the team as a Management Accountant and play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our company. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a background in public accounting or practice to transition into the dynamic world of industry finance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, provide strategic insights, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts. 
  • Conducting variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (QBE will be considered). 
  • Experience in the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Proficiency is Sage & Power BI will be an advantage. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
