DK Recruitment have a really exciting, fixed term opportunity for a family run, global business based near Newquay in Cornwall. The award winning business is looking for a management accountant to join the finance team.

Answering to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual management accounts and providing associated analysis, and commentary behind the figures. This role also is responsible for providing budget holders across the business with the necessary financial information to enable them to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and report the commercial performance of the business.

Preparation of Monthly and Annual accounts

- Month end reconciliations including bank accounts, sales and purchase ledgers and other balance sheet accounts.

- To prepare month end journals and supporting documentation for accruals and prepayments

- Manage customer rebates and promotional funding process.

- Provide analysis to budget holders in relation to expenditure incurred.

Qualifications

- Qualified/Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

- Advanced excel and data analysis skills.

- Proven experience working in a similar role.

- Very strong academic record and interpersonal skills
