Management Accountant

• Salary Range: £30,000pa - £40,000pa

I am currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a finance team. This pivotal role involves providing key financial information to support decision-making within the organisation, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
• Offer professional judgement on financial matters and advise on ways of improving business performance.
• Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
• Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide a support service to the company’s core business functions.
• Implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Participate in budget setting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.

• Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a management accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
