Management Accountant

We are in search of a Management Accountant to join our finance team within an SME. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing accurate financial information to management, aiding strategic decision-making and contributing to the financial health of the company.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
• Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
• Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls.

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent numerical skills to handle large amounts of data.
• Detail-oriented and organised.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• A recognised qualification in accounting (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
