Job Title: Management Accountant (Hospitality Industry)

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid Working (4-6 months contract)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making across our multi-site operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in management accounting within the hospitality sector, be an ACCA or CIMA finalist, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and forecasting.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
* Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts for multiple sites within the hospitality business.
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including revenue recognition, cost allocations, and expense tracking.
* Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and support operational decision-making.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and targets.
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
* Provide financial support and guidance to operational managers, ensuring effective financial controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting the hospitality sector.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* ACCA or CIMA finalist qualification is required (essential).
* Experience in management accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Proven experience with multi-site operations and understanding of the unique financial challenges in this sector.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Working Arrangement:
This is a hybrid working role, combining both remote work and on-site presence as required. The contract duration is 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
