Management Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for driving efficiency and ensuring financial compliance? We're looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join our client and make a real difference. If you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, keep reading!

Key Responsibilities but not limited to :

Financial Reporting: Assist in the timely production of monthly management reports, KPIs, and ensure compliance with processes and controls.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with finance and operational teams to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Financial Analysis: Conduct Gross Profit analysis, identify variances, investigate root causes, and develop solutions to resolve issues.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of forecasts and annual budgeting processes.
Compliance: Prepare VAT returns, assist with regulatory reporting, and support with audits and external filings.
Cashflow Management: Assist with weekly cashflow reporting and supplier payments across the Group.
Intercompany Reconciliation: Support in the preparation of monthly intercompany recharges and reconciliation.
Project Participation: Actively participate in ad-hoc finance projects to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing/production/agricultural environments is preferred.
Communication Skills: Confident and polite communicator with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with production and ERP systems, preferably Navision/Sage 50, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG and Retailer engagement is advantageous.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting, creative, and technical problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will be a Part-qualified accountant or QBE, experience in the manufacturing/agricultural industry, good level of systems knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.
