Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Groups Accountancy & Finance division are looking for a part qualified Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham!

The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analysing management accounts and other financial reports as well as the management of that data in relation to ongoing Manufacturing ERP implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis using data from multiple sources
• Prepare monthly product profitability analysis relating to manufactured products 
• Operate as subject matter expert for costing and management accounting relating to the implementation of manufacturing in ERP systems
• Present reports to senior management and explain the financial implications of business decisions
• Compile strategies that will reduce business costs and increase profitability
• Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures and identify opportunities to improve them
• Communicate with all levels within the organisation and present financial information to non-finance staff
• Analyse and manage risk within the business.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Experienced ERP user, preferably with SAP, with experience of ERP implementation for manufacturing
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ERP accounting software (SAP is preferrable)
• Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
• ACCA or CIMA part qualified accountant with experience in a fast-moving SME business environment
