Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, with experience in an accounting/audit firm or an international company. This role requires a meticulous and methodical approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of confidentiality.

Management Accountant: 

• Job Type: Temporary 3 - 6 months potential of on going/permanent 
• Location: Office-based (flexible hours)

Day to Day of the Role: 

• Analyse and account for the financial statements of assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group principles.
• Process documentation and information according to Group principles, addressing any deviations from local rules if applicable.
• Post general entries related to monthly closings and check analytical postings.
• Participate in interim closings (monthly), half-year, and year-end closings, adhering to both local and Group standards.
• Analyse and justify accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintain and update closing and evidence files.
• Respond to information requests related to the accounting process.
• Record and archive processed documents.
• Utilise and optimise available tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required skills and qualifications: 

• Training in accounting or relevant experience in an accounting/audit firm or an industrial & international company.
• Rigorous, methodical, with strong drafting skills.
• Proficient in software packages (Word, Excel), with knowledge of SAP software being advantageous.
• Knowledge of a foreign language (English, French, or Spanish) in addition to the mother tongue is beneficial.
