About The Role

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by completing management accounts and reconciling balance sheets.
• Collaborate with operational teams to establish accrued and deferred income and work-in-progress.
• Post payroll journals and manage credit card postings.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and Construction Industry Scheme returns.
• Oversee customer and supplier retentions and manage the corporation tax position.
• Liaise with year-end accountants/auditors and complete necessary requests.
• Provide business analysis and support month-end reporting.
• Assist with payment runs and credit control if required.
• Support the finance function in a growing business with any other duties as required.

About You

• AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA studying preferable. Qualified by Experienced certainly of interest.
• Demonstrate initiative as a self-starter and collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Experience working with finance systems
• Proficient in Excel.
• Previous experience in a busy accounts department.
