Part-Qualified/QBE Management Accountant - OFFICE BASED

I am currently partnered with a dynamic and growing Logistics/Business Solutions organisation based in Newbury, seeking a talented Part-Qualified or QBE Management Accountant to join their Accounts Department.

This company are a multi-million-pound turnover with global presence as market leaders in the service they provide.

Role Description

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Reporting:

Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.

Analyse financial data and provide insights.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Contribute to budget preparation.

Monitor actual vs. budget performance.

Assist in forecasting financial outcomes.

Cost Control and Analysis:

Review cost structures and identify areas for improvement.

Support cost-saving initiatives.

Perform variance analysis.

Month-End Processes:

Assist with month-end close activities.

Reconcile balance sheets and journals.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Ad Hoc Projects:

Participate in special projects as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant: Currently studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous exposure to management accounting or finance.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Attention to Detail: Accuracy in financial reporting.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively.
