Sellick Partnership are excited to be working with a South Yorkshire based public sector organisation for the recruitment of a qualified Management Accountant.

Within in this post the Management Accountant will be responsible for leading the budget setting and budget monitoring processes in accordance with corporate timetables, develop the accountancy function, providing day to day leadership & support to the Management Accounting Team to ensure all the organisational needs are met with.

The Management Accountant roles and responsibilities

  • Budget setting
  • Budget monitoring
  • Managing the full month end budget cycle process
  • Leading in the production of the capital programme
  • Coordinate non statutory returns
  • Providing budgetary advice to budget holders and internal and external stakeholders
  • Team mentoring and staff development
