Are you a management accountant looking to join an exciting PE backed Tech business?

As the group management accountant, you will play a crucial role and be responsible for overseeing and managing financial activities across multiple entities within the Group. The role involves reporting, analysis, and control, aiming to ensure effective financial management and support strategic decision-making at both the individual entity and Group level.

Key responsibilities as the Management Accountant but not limited to:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, for the entire organisation and its subsidiaries. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of historic financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Investigate and explain significant deviations, highlighting potential areas of concern or improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination, and ensuring adherence to transfer pricing policies.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and audit requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Prepare financial information and reports required by regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to special financial projects as assigned by senior management, such as mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, or business process improvements.

Key experience, skills and qualification required as the Management Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
  • Proven experience in financial accounting or financial analysis in a multinational or group organisation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP system
