Management Accountant

Your new company
I am working with a great client within the manufacturing industry who is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
You will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with various budget holders across the business. The role has a defined progression path to Assistant Financial Controller.

Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for

• Month End Reporting - supporting the Financial Controller in all month end reporting activities, leading to the production of the month end Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet
• Preparing and explaining any key variances in the monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets, comparing them to the latest forecast, budget and prior years when preparing the reports for key stakeholders.
• Forecasting and Budgeting - working closely with non-finance teams to build the monthly overhead forecasts and annual budget for the Group's administration functions
• Reconciliation of balance sheet and intercompany accounts.
• Business Partnering with various stakeholders.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register.
• Accrual and Prepayment calculations and posting of journals

What you'll need to succeed
You will be at least part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have strong Excel skills. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
