Management Accountant

Luton- Hybrid

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum.

This position is reporting into the finance manager and to support in the preparation of management accounts and key business reporting whilst also overseeing general accounting procedures and practices within the business. This position is a natural progression and successor to the position of Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production monthly management accounts according to relevant accounting practices and policies, and in adherence to policies.
  • Production of weekly margin reporting
  • Ensure full and robust balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed monthly.
  • Debt management and cash collection, including forecasting of cash.
  • Support in ad-hoc finance projects as required.
  • While the role doesn't have direct responsibility for Commercial aspects of the team, there is an expectation that the candidate will be sufficiently commercially aware to support in commercial areas.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and reviews
  • Support in the management of the external audit process.
  • Provide financial support and advice on ongoing performance.
  • Supports the creation of a strong financial control framework.
  • To manage and monitor cash and ensure operations are fully involved and engaged.
