Management Accountant

Our client, a highly successful business based in Norwich are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to join their growing team as a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager the purpose of this role is to oversee the preparation of divisional/group month end processes and continue the centralisation of month end reporting. The role is also responsible for monitoring, preserving and reporting on the Companies pricing and costing information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring divisional and group month end results are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
• Preparation of central, manufacturing and group month end results, including prepayments and accruals.
• Ensuring timely preparation of central balance sheet reconciliations and assisting in clearing reconciling items.
• Supervision of team members and delegation of responsibilities to support team development.
• Drive the centralisation of divisional month-end reporting. Proactively seeking process improvements in the month end reporting process and other areas of responsibility.
• Overseeing the maintenance of the fixed asset and CAPEX register.
• Responsibility for all aspects of costing information across the group, monitoring pricing/discount performance, developing price recommendations, assisting with the implementation of new products and maintaining the sliding scale and commission structures within the accounting system.
