Management Accountant

Faversham

Up to £50,000

Full-Time Permanent

An incredible opportunity for an experienced management accountant to become part of our expanding company in Faversham. This role is needs a forward thinking and adaptable person.

Key Responsibilities as a Management Accountant:

  • Training and analysing of Management Accounts
  • Assessing and supervising the work of the junior team
  • Progressing and coaching of the junior team
  • Overseeing payroll reviews
  • Maintaining and update customer's accounting records
  • Accurately prepare and review VAT Returns
  • Supporting customers by enhancing their internal processes and practices
  • Providing provisional monetary controller assistance to our customers as required

Key Requirements and skills:

  • Skilled bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns
  • Good understanding of VAT
  • Good effective communication skills
  • Capability to prepare management accounts, including KPI’s and cash flows
  • Excellent payroll experience and knowledge
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident meeting and working closely with consumer's
  • Knowledge of Xero, Sage and Key accounts would be good
  • Ideally some with a AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Experience in industry as a financial accountant would be ideal
  • An interest in farming, land and estates and renewables would also be desirable
