You'll join as Management Accountant - a chance to undertake a fully fledged MA role within a diverse SME (that expects to double in size in the next 3-5 years!)...

You'll be involved in all aspects of the month end close and associated reporting, you'll get stuck into budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, year end... all of the valuable experience you need to then transition into the number 1 role.

You'll also have chance to be the ERP superuser (a newly installed modern tech that again will be incredibly valuable to add to your toolkit).

You’ll be working for a supportive, approachable and highly experienced Head of Finance - a patient and encouraging mentor who can provide you will the experience and coaching you need to kick on rapidly.

There is a deliberate succession plan in place and the current HoF is retirement planning therefore there is clear scope for you to step into that role downstream.

Required:

Previous experience as Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant - understanding and experience of month end close.

AAT or an Accountant & finance degree - ideally someone already studying toward ACCA or CIMA.

Excellent Excel skills and confident analytical ability.

Confidence when discussing financial info with a non finance audience - a team player who will enjoy getting out into the business and building friendships.

Understanding of manufacturing / an environment where stock is a key consideration ideally.

Ambition - this would suit someone hands on but with genuine appetite to step into a Head of Finance / FD role in a growth SME.
