Our client is a fast-paced business and a leader in its field.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their large fen-based site on a six-month contract.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers autonomy and the chance to grow in a business that continues to thrive.

Duties will include

  • Preparing weekly and monthly management accounts
  • Variance reporting and analysis
  • Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Business partnering with stakeholders
  • Stock reporting
  • System review and improvements
  • Ad hoc reporting

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment and will be happy to work in an autonomous role where things move fast.

Strong Excel experience is important and an understanding of ERP systems would be ideal, but not essential.

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting things done and working to deadlines whilst also having the opportunity to challenge and interrogate the information produced.

Ideally AAT qualified, people who are studying towards a qualification will also be considered.

The role will ideally involve fully-expensed travel to the Scotland site on a monthly basis, but this is not imperative if you have the right skills.

This role offers hybrid working, and interviews will be taking place very soon.
