Management Accountant - £40K - Hybrid - DE14

SF are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant based in Burton on Trent on a permanent basis. This role offers opportunity for progression and flexible/hybrid working.

Hours - 9am to 4pm

Job duties:
- Preparation of accounts for 3 entities
- Updating accounts models including reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
- Weekly variance reports to MD
- Monthly journals accruals and prepayments
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
- Deliver quarterly reports to tight deadlines
- Biomass VAT return Preparation
- Prepare Bi-weekly Payment run
- Prepare cash flow forecast
- Company accounts queries
- Monthly recharge to Company
- Assist with forecasting
- To cover and assist with group purchase ledger, sales ledger and other group tasks during periods of absence or during busy periods as required
- Year end audit assistance for the group including preparation of companies Financial statements
- Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Studying AAT/Qualified by Experience or Studying CIMA/ACA/ACCA
Experience working in a busy finance department
Team Player
Knowledge of Sage 50
