Our client a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Management Accountant, to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover).

As the Management Accountant, you will be a pivotal member of the Finance Team, and be responsible for preparing, managing, and analysing financial data, ensuring compliance with financial governance, regulations, and internal policies, while also participating in development opportunities and potential project involvement to expand your role and understanding of the business.

The responsibilities:
* Produce financial analysis for decision support, including weekly flash reports
* Maintain daily and monthly data reporting, such as sales and spend reports
* Contribute to month-end processing and management reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage sales-credit risk and sales ledger, including daily transactions and customer inquiries
* Handle fixed assets management, budgeting, forecasting, and depreciation
* Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing processes
* Review and refine finance procedures, including SAP utilization
* Support audits of statutory accounts and compliance processes
* Develop and update KPI information

The candidate:
* A' level Maths or NVQ equivalent
* Experience in manufacturing or FMCG sector
* Recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification or close to completion
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, intermediate to advanced level
* SAP experience, preferably at Super-user level
* Immediately available, or on a short notice period
