Management Accountant - 12 Month Contract (ToST1234)

My client, a global music media business based near SOUTHWARK/LONDON BRIDGE STATION is seeking a MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT on a 12 month contract to join their growing business.

You will sit within the Group Function where you will involve a lot of business partnering with non-finance stakeholders

THE ROLE

• End to end management of the accounting of International projects including journal entries, reconciliation to settlements and ensuring correct mapping between systems

• Liaise with International Accountant to ensure correct billing to local partners for department’s share of profit and/or loss and cash flows
• Work with International Accountant to make sure all local deposits and transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Liaise with the UK and International team and to reconcile revenue on a monthly basis
• Ownership of balance sheet balances and resolution of those balances through liaison with International Accountant
• Work closely with AP and AR to ensure timely and accurate payment and invoicing of customers and suppliers.
• Assist with reviewing coding & posting AP processed invoices
• Work with International management each month to submit accurate projections for future projects
• Liaise with FM and FP&A manager to ensure variance commentary is accurate

THE IDEAL PERSON

• PQ/ FINALIST accountant
• Ideally from a music/entertainment business
• Possesses excellent core accounting skills with a fundamental knowledge of debits and credits
• Intermediate to advanced excel and modelling skills (lookups, pivots, index match)
• Confident communicating with senior management level.
• Strong team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
