This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MAIT Technician to join the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation in a newly-created role.

The Role

The MAIT Technician will work across my client's product portfolio, assembling both R&D products and flight hardware.  The MAIT Technician will also test future products (functional testing/electrical testing/vibration/shock/TVAC/RF testing), develop and write processes and procedures and carry out the detailed inspection of machined parts.

What do I need?

  • Strong engineering knowledge with experience in the assembly of precision components
  • Experience of using Metrology equipment
  • Knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of MAIT, such as functional testing, electrical bonding/isolation, vibration, shock, TVAC, kinematic testing of deployable systems, etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of using assembly procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials, etc.
