Maintenance Technician

Are you a Maintenance Technician with experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment? Are you electrically skilled as well as mechanically? Are you looking to join a small team at a very innovative company? If so, this Maintenance Technician position is perfect for you!

This Maintenance Technician position is working for a Rubber Moulding company in Aldershot. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 16:30pm, with an early finish of 12pm on a Friday! The role is paying up to £32,000 depending on experience!

This Maintenance Technician will have a variety of responsibilities within their role as they will be part of a small team responsible for all aspects of maintenance, including building maintenance, Machinery Maintenance and also HVAC/Water/Air system maintenance. There will also be an element of tool refining and sharpening tools for the lathes and mills. There will be the need for both reactive and preventative maintenance, as well as fault finding and using PLCs. Whilst the company are looking for someone with experience, of course, full training will be provided.

You will need:

• Experience with building and machinery maintenance within manufacturing/engineering environments
• To be electrically skilled - at least qualified to 17th Edition or higher
• To have great problem solving, time management and be able to manage own workload
• To have knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, as well as understanding LEAN tools
• To be willing to learn and flexible to help out when required
