Job title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: up to £41,000 plus 35% shift allowance (OTE £55,350)
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Type: Permanent

Imperial Professionals are working with one of our key manufacturing clients based in Newton Aycliffe, after a recent £18 million investment and exciting future projects they are looking to expand their current workforce.

Duties:

Install, maintain and carry out repairs to machinery across the plant

Ensure the repair and appropriate maintenance of manufacturing machinery and ensure it is carried out within reasonable timescales which will minimise disruption to the efficiencies of the manufacturing targets.

Fault find and repair any Mechanical or Electrical problems across production

Plan workload and provide handovers for next shifts

Liaise with Engineering Manager regarding requirements for spare parts

Continuous improvement on site equipment

Ensure H&S policies are adhered to

Carry out preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery to ensure that company production requirements are met.

Ensure all duties are carried out within the scope of the Health and Safety at Work Act and also Company rules and procedures.

Carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.

Requirements:

Relevant Engineering Qualifications

Min of 2 years manufacturing / production experience

PLC fault finding experience

Multiskilled

Robotics and automation - desirable
