Maintenance Officer needed in Barry Paying  £16.60 per hr ref 1257636

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  • To effectively manage the voids and Adaptation Service to ensure timely and appropriate service delivery. Effectively planning, and co-ordinating responses to void works and clients providing adaptations to homes to support independent through effective and efficient use of labour, resources, plant, materials, external and contractors/suppliers where necessary.
  • To lead a team which delivers a high-quality service for clients, developing a team culture where good performance is recognised and poor staff is performance addressed.
  • To develop a performance management framework which drives forward service performance for void and adaptation works, including the development of robust team plans, key performance indicators, benchmarking statistics and customer satisfaction information.
  • To develop a continuous improvement ethos, ensuring that the quality of work at all sites is maintained to a high standard and that customer/client satisfaction levels meet/exceed agreed targets.
  • To oversee the design, specification, cost estimates and development of scheme briefs for projects and schemes where required and ensure where appropriate that selection, procurement, appointment and supervision of contractors is accordance with the financial and other relevant regulations/policies/procedures.
