JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
LOCATION: Melksham
SALARY: up to £40,000
WAY OF WORKING: Predominately night shift
THE BUSINESS:
C4S Search are pleased to be partnering with a specialist in the engineering and manufacturing of respiratory protection equipment for military, law enforcement and fire personnel.
THE MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, including:
- Maintenance of rubber injection and compression moulding machines.
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, referencing schematic drawings.
- Proficient in fabrication and machining.
- Conduct safety checks on moving equipment.
- Perform mechanical Planned Maintenance Inspections (PMI).
- Execute tool changes and PMI (possessing fork truck driving skills is advantageous).
- Maintain facility services and equipment such as boilers, compressors, pumps, air handling units, and extraction fans.
- Undertake small installation projects and participate in improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
- Qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A willingness to undertake necessary training to further your knowledge as to business needs.
- Assisting the Electrical Team when needed.
- At least 5 years plant maintenance experience
