My client are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to join their team.
Role Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Manager at 4 Star Branded Hotel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel by managing and maintaining its physical assets and infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:
o Overseeing and managing the hotel's maintenance team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
o Planning and executing maintenance and repair activities for the hotel's facilities, including rooms, common areas, and mechanical systems.
o Managing and ensuring the proper functioning of essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
o Scheduling and supervising preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and operational disruptions.
o Collaborating with other departments to address maintenance-related issues promptly and efficiently.
o Managing maintenance budgets and expenses while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
o Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
o Evaluating and recommending improvements to enhance the hotel's physical assets.
o Handling maintenance-related emergencies and providing timely solutions.
Key Requirements
You should possess the following skills and qualifications:
o Previous experience in maintenance management within the hotel or hospitality industry.
o Strong technical and mechanical knowledge, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
o Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Leadership and team management skills.
o Ability to manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively.
o Proficiency in IT applications for maintenance management.
o Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
